This Dutch Island in the Caribbean is a warm and welcoming destination with beaches galore, shopping to suit all tastes and world-renowned snorkelling which includes a chance to explore the wreck of the SS Antilla cargo ship.

Aruba’s capital Oranjestad, makes for a popular day trip from one of the island’s resorts with casinos, live music, restaurants and markets. And if you’re still in the mood for exploring, there’s the Arikok National Park where beaches, caves and peaceful ocean views lie in wait, along with a wealth of local wildlife. 

You can also take to the lovely warm waters by boat and go island hopping to places such as De Palm Island and Renaissance Island. Of course, if you’d rather just chill out on the beautiful sands, there are many glorious beaches where you can lie back, sip an ice-cold cocktail and do as little as possible.
