Prague, Vienna & Budapest

If you’d like to see more of Vienna from a unique vantage point, we recommend a ride on the Wiener Riesenrad Ferris wheel in the Prater amusement park. The wheel dates back to the late 19th century and gives a magical glimpse of the city from on high. And if you enjoy having a browse in markets, the Naschmarkt has in excess of 100 stalls to explore – many of which serve local food.

Budapest has a wealth of riches for visitors to discover. From its pubs set in ruined buildings, known as ‘kerts’, to an amazing pinball museum, there are unique places as well as more conventional castles, churches, synagogues, parks and music festivals waiting for you.

If you’re looking for scenic views of the River Danube that runs through the city, then head to the World Heritage Site of Castle Hill for great photo opportunities. When it comes to Hungarian food, paprika is king and there are lots of remarkable restaurants serving up local dishes such as goulash and lángos – an indulgent flatbread that’s deep-fried and utterly delicious.
